Dispute Resolution

In the event of failure of an Airnode to accurately report prices, or if the data provider mistakenly (or intentionally) misreports the price of an asset, a case can be made for investigation.

This will generate a claim with API3 which they will take back to the data provider as defined in their legal agreements that are already in place. Should there be a dispute between those two entities, then a case will be opened using the Kleros on-chain conflict resolution platform. Details of that process can be reviewed on the Kleros website.
